Bombay Group has promoted Georg Nero to chief product officer for the Yolo Group subsidiary.

Nero shifted over to Bombay Group from Yolo Group in 2024, before rising up the ranks to become head of online services.

He was then named head of product in March last year and has now stepped up to the CPO position.

During his time with the Estonia-based business, Nero has helped build out a 40-plus-strong product team and develop the new Yolo.com B2C brand.

The development of Yolo.com comes after the parent company decided to shift away from grey markets, with plans to focus on regulated jurisdictions.

The business has also secured supplier licences in the UAE, as the Emirates opens its doors to legalised gambling.

In October, Bombay Group named Rhiannon Bach as chief marketing officer and Lauren Findlay as chief digital officer.

Bombay also runs a land-based casino in the Estonian capital of Tallinn, with plans to offer a VIP-focused omnichannel experience to customers

Nero said: “Working in Bombay has been a dream come true. I have been incredibly lucky to work side-by-side and learn from so many industry professionals, keen to pass on their knowledge with shining eyes while keeping it fun.

“Thank you to all the people who have invested in me but also continue to believe in me.”

A Bombay Group statement read: “We are thrilled to announce an important milestone in our continued journey of innovation and growth: the appointment of Georg Nero as chief product officer of Bombay Group.

“Georg joined Bombay nearly three years ago and has since played a pivotal role in shaping our product ecosystem. From product owner to head of product, he has demonstrated exceptional strategic insight, product vision and operational excellence, helping grow the product function into a team of 40 talented professionals.

“We are excited for this next chapter and confident in Georg’s leadership as we continue to build products, platforms and experiences that define the future of Bombay Group.”
