LiveScore Group’s chief product officer, Sam Talbot, has announced his impending departure from the company.
Talbot first joined the operator in October 2022, working in his C-suite role for three years.
Prior to joining LiveScore Group, he spent nearly two years at The Stars Group in various product marketing roles from December 2019 to November 2021, serving as product director for marketing technology before his departure.
He also had a brief role as chief customer officer at marketing agency GOAT Interactive between June and November 2021.
The longest spell of his career came at Sky Betting and Gaming between May 2013 and June 2019.
Initially joining as a sportsbook product executive, his last role before leaving the operator was as head of product and marketing technology between May 2017 and June 2019.
Talbot’s igaming experience also extends to his time working for bet365 from 2010 to 2013, where he served as mobile team lead.
He also co-founded consultancy firm The iGaming Collective in January 2022, where he currently works as a partner.
Writing about his LiveScore Group departure on LinkedIn, Talbot said: “After three-and-a-half years, the time has come to say goodbye to LiveScore Group.
“We’ve delivered loads of cool stuff, I’ve met some amazing people and had plenty of fun along the way.
“Looking forward to a break at home with the family before taking on the next challenge.”
Last month, the operator’s flagship LiveScore Bet brand announced it was pulling out of the Bulgaria market after less than a year.
