Stake parent company Easygo reported net profit of A$257m (£127m) in the 12 months to 30 June 2025.

As reported first by The Australian, Easygo Group Holdings, which also manages streaming platform Kick, has net assets of more than A$5bn on the balance sheet.

According to filings with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, Easygo paid around A$152m in corporate tax for the reporting period.

As of June 2025, Easygo had 636 staff and, with plans to move to a new 13,000 sq m office in Melbourne’s Cremorne suburb, which has capacity to house almost the existing headcount.

Stake, which has long been regarded as the leading crypto-first casino, has been making a concerted push into regulated markets over the past two years.

It snapped up Betfair’s Colombia business in the Latam market, before following that up with moves into Italy and Denmark via M&A as well as securing a Brazilian licence.

The filings showed Easygo paid A$7.1m for VinderCasino parent company MocinoPlay.

The Easygo parent company also oversees the Twist and Massive studios which produce games for Stake.

Stake came 17th in the EGR Power 50 2025 ranking– holding its position from 2024.

In other Easygo news, Kick will not be banned outright in France after a Paris court gave the platform a slight reprieve.

A court case related to the death of a streamer in August, known by the pseudonym Jean Pormanove, could have resulted in Kick being barred from the country.

However, the court ruled that any acts of violence against Pormanove that remain on the platform must be removed.

The channel linked to Pormanove has been banned in France following his death. He died after 12 days of livestreamed abuse.

Kick said it remains committed to working with the French authorities.
