As a whole New Jersey gambling revenues fall by 2.8 per cent

New Jersey’s gambling revenues dipped by 2.8 per cent in November following the record $260.3m set in October, but showed year-on-year gains of 18.2 per cent from November 2024.

October 2025’s record was set due to the performance of online gaming, which in November still managed to record its second-highest monthly total, bringing in $253m. In-person gambling, that conducted in casinos or retail sportsbooks, showed marked improvement with revenues up to $236.8m, marking an increase of 5.7 per cent.

Land-based casino revenue reached $223.9m, which was up 4.2 per cent compared to last year and a 7.3 per cent increase from October. Retail sportsbooks brought in $60.5m.

Revenue from slots increased by 4.3 per cent year-on-year to $167.7m, whilst table games revenue increased by four per cent to $56.2m for the month.

The market’s leading casinos remained, as always, MGM’s Borgata, which generated $57.6m, up 11.4 per cent from last year. Hard Rock was next with revenue of $44.3m, up 7.1 per cent year-on-year, followed by Ocean Resort, whose 8.2 per cent, year-on-year, took its total to $34m.
