Sportradar has named IG Group CEO and former Paddy Power Betfair chief Breon Corcoran to the supplier’s board of directors, effective 11 December.
Corcoran’s experience in the betting industry spans nearly 25 years, starting at Paddy Power where he was named COO in 2010.
The Irishman was then appointed CEO at Betfair in 2012 and was running the business when Paddy Power and the operator merged in 2016 to become Paddy Power Betfair.
He served as CEO of the combined business, before departing in 2018. He was succeeded by Peter Jackson, with the business rebranding to Flutter Entertainment in 2019.
Most recently, Corcoran took on the group CEO role at IG at the start of 2024. He has also served as CEO of payments firm WorldRemit.

In November, Sportradar completed its acquisition of global sports tech and data outfit IMG Arena from Endeavour Group for $225m.
Off the back of the acquisition, the group reported a 14% jump in year-on-year revenue for Q3.
