Day One Team Members embody spirit of casino
Harrah’s Atlantic City marked a historic milestone over the last weekend with a VIP cocktail event at The Pool After Dark, commemorating its 45th anniversary and honouring the dedicated Team Members who have been with the property since opening day in 1980.
The celebration brought together more than 1,000 guests, including loyal players and the resort’s remarkable “Day One” Team Members. Attendees enjoyed gourmet small bites, along with Buddy Valastro’s signature cakes and a show-stopping display cake that wowed the crowd. A live DJ kept the energy high, fueling the celebration with vibrant music throughout the evening.
A highlight of the night came when Gregg Klein, senior vice president and general manager, Harrah’s Resort, took the stage to deliver heartfelt remarks, recognizing the contributions of Team Members over the decades. Klein invited the “Day One” Team Members to join him on stage, where they received well-deserved recognition for their unwavering commitment to service and hospitality.
Since opening its doors in 1980, Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City has welcomed millions of guests, introduced world-class dining, and become a cornerstone of Atlantic City’s gaming and entertainment scene. The resort’s enduring success is built on the dedication of its Team Members, particularly the 45 individuals who have been part of the Harrah’s family since day one.
