CIRSA records €120m in online revenue for Q3

CIRSA has reported net online gaming and betting revenue of €120.7m (£106.1m) for the third quarter of 2025. 

The figure represents an 8.1% year-on-year (YoY) increase when compared to the corresponding period in 2024, despite “customer-friendly sports results” experienced in September. 

The firm cited strong performance from its core markets of Spain, Peru, Italy and Portugal as key drivers for growth during the quarter. 

Of the company’s revenue total, 55% was derived from sports betting, with 45% attributed to online casino. 

Revenue from Peru, Italy and the Iberian Peninsula made up 97% of the CIRSA’s revenue during the quarter. 

After factoring in €11.8m of personnel costs, €25.2m worth of gaming taxes, €59.8m expenses for external services and €13.9m of depreciation costs, EBIT for the quarter amounted to €9.7m.

Overall, EBITDA for Q3 totalled €23.6m,up 14% YoY. 

For the group as a whole, revenue for the quarter totalled €560.2m, up 5.4% YoY. 

The revenue generated from the online gaming and betting segment was bested only by the contribution of the company’s land-based casino arm, which added €253.9m to the total. 

CIRSA’s Spanish retail arm generated net revenue of €101.4m, while its Italian equivalent saw revenue of €96m during the quarter. 

The company noted that it had not experienced any impact from prediction markets in the jurisdictions within which the growing vertical is operating, stating: “We remain confident that our operations will not be affected going forward, given the regulatory frameworks in the markets where we operate.” 

In terms of the year to date (YTD), net revenue amounted to €1.7bn, up 9.7% YoY.  

EBITDA for the YTD increased 8% YoY to €548.5m, with net profit for the first nine months of 2025 surging 101.6% to €73.9m. 

Moving forward, CIRSA has upgraded its full-year 2025 guidance to between €2.32bn and €2.34bn for net revenue, up from €2.80m and €2.33m, and between €750m and €753m for EBITDA, up from €740m and €750m.
