Mobile betting drives growth for Arkansas casinos

Arkansas’ three casinos recorded a combined net win of $183.99m in Q3 2025, a five per cent increase year-on-year, according to data from the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration.

Southland Casino in West Memphis led the quarter with $86.68m in total win, up three per cent on the same period last year. Saracen Casino in Pine Bluff reported $50.21m, a nin per cent increase, while Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort in Hot Springs posted $47.1m, up five per cent.

Arkansas continues to outperform nearby regional markets. Year-to-date casino win reached $551m, up nearly four per cent, compared with declines reported in Tunica (-1%) and Shreveport-Bossier (-4%).

Mobile betting remained a key growth driver. Mobile net win reached $12.34m for the quarter, up 18.6 per cent year-over-year. Oaklawn saw the strongest increase, with mobile win up 92 per cent to $4.74m. Saracen reported $5.8m, up 2.8 per cent, while Southland’s $1.8m mobile win was down 22 per cent.

Slot machine win, the largest segment, totalled $153.15m, up 4.6 per cent. Southland generated $74.56m, Saracen $40.59m and Oaklawn $38m. Table games delivered $17.4m, up nearly eight per cent across the state.

Saracen said gains were supported by progress on its $300m hotel, casino-floor expansion and event centre, expected to be completed late this year or early next.

Southland reported increased marketing activity and expanded live entertainment programming. Oaklawn highlighted strong mobile sports handle and the return of its thoroughbred racing season beginning 12 December.

Arkansas casinos paid $23.92m in state taxes for the quarter, also up five per cent year-on-year.
