Outdoor space offers 250 slot positions
Delaware Park Casino & Racing officially began welcoming guests into its new 10,000-square-foot, $5m outdoor slot patio. Now the largest outdoor gaming space in Delaware, the slot patio offers over 250 slot machines, pushing the casino’s number of slot machine offerings to nearly 1,900.
“We’re always looking for exciting ways to provide our guests new experiences,” said Terry Glebocki, Delaware Park’s President and General Manager. “We’re thrilled to officially open the doors to the new slot patio, where our players can enjoy the outdoors while playing their favorite games.”
While smoking is permitted on the outdoor slot patio, all indoor spaces at Delaware Park Casino remain completely smoke-free environments, offering guests the best of both worlds.
Delaware Park Casino invites new and returning guests to check out the slot patio during their next visit. There are also plenty of family-friendly and holiday-themed events planned for the remainder of the year, such as the first-ever Parktober Fest on October 18 and the second annual Festival of Lights, returning in December.
“Parktober Fest brings Oktoberfest to Delaware Park from noon to 6 p.m., coinciding with the last day of live racing this year,” said Glebocki. “There will be food trucks; retail vendors; and dozens of beer, wine and spirit tastings. And of course, we are excited to welcome families back for our Festival of Lights, which is shaping up to be even bigger and better than last year’s inaugural event.”
