Evoke has appointed Mark Summerfield as chair of its gaming compliance committee.

CFO Sean Wilkins has also been added to the panel, creating a three-person committee alongside existing member Ori Shaked.

Summerfield, William Hill’s former interim CFO from July 2016 to December 2017, replaces former chair Michael Alonso.

He also serves as evoke’s audit committee chair, since September 2019, and sits on the operator’s ESG committee.

Shaked has been a member of evoke’s board as a non-executive director since July 2022 and currently serves on its nominations, ESG and terminology committees.

Wilkins was appointed CFO in February 2024, after joining from Superbet.

Evoke appointed the gaming compliance committee in accordance with Nevada Gaming Control Board requirements, with its 888 brand holding a Nevada gaming licence.

The multi-brand operator has had several changes to its C-suite this year.

Former Virgin Media O2 director of value creation and commercial strategy Siddharth Dixit was appointed as evoke’s new chief strategy and transformation officer last month, shortly after the departure of chief strategy officer Vaughan Lewis in the summer.

Prior to that, in February, chief growth officer Jeffrey Haas also left the William Hill and 888 parent company, just 13 months after joining the firm.
