BetHog has launched the “world’s first” AI-powered blackjack dealer, in the shape of an anime-style host named ‘Sunny’.
BetHog stated that Sunny will remember and greet players by name, while also recalling previous conversations with customers as well as their play histories.
The crypto casino added the AI-powered dealer offers a “fresh, interactive experience” with customers when compared to the “detached, or exhausted” conventional live dealers.
BetHog, which was co-founded by FanDuel founder Nigel Eccles, said Sunny can offer players advice while playing and has “natural” conversations, all while reacting to the ebbs and flows of each game.
These features “enhance the authenticity and excitement of betting in a virtual setting”, according to the operator.
As part of the launch, the operator announced it has hidden five secrets about Sunny which the AI-powered dealer will reveal to playing customers. The first to uncover all five will win a cash prize of $50,000. not terribly clear.
Nigel Eccles, BetHog CEO and co-founder, said with AI already transforming other industries, the launch of Sunny is proof the technology is ready to change the online casino sector.
Eccles explained: “This is more than just a new feature, it represents a whole new category.
