Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG) chief technology officer (CTO) Vladimir Klein is set to depart the Prague, Czechia-based operator after more than four years.
Klein will leave the business at the end of the month, having joined as CTO in March 2021.
He arrived at the Central and Eastern Europe-facing firm after a stint with Czech telecoms company Cetin as a regional chief information officer.
The exec previously spent 15 years with T-Mobile across various geographies, eventually serving as chief technology and IT officer between May 2013 and May 2016.
EGR understands a replacement for Klein has already been sourced from within the industry.
Klein’s departure comes after FEG also named a new CFO last week, as Uroš Bibić joined to take on the finance brief.
He moved from Sport Vision Group, where he has spent almost seven years as CFO for the Belgrade, Serbia-based business.
Klein’s departure and Bibić’s arrival mark the latest changes in the FEG C-suite following Dieter John being named CEO at the turn of the year.
The former CFO and COO ascended to the top job after ex-Paddy Power head Victor Corcoran vacated the hot seat.
Confirming his departure, Klein said: “My mission at FEG has come to an end. It’s been a dynamic, challenging and truly amazing journey – nearly five years that exceeded my expectations.
“Honestly, if someone had told me at the beginning what we would accomplish, I wouldn’t have believed it.
“I want to sincerely thank all my colleagues who believed in me, trusted our direction and stood by through outages, hacker attacks and the delivery of complex transformational programmes.
“Your support in reshaping how we work, refining processes and evolving the organisation has been invaluable.”
