Evoke has named former Virgin Media O2 and Deliveroo exec Siddharth Dixit as the multi-brand operator’s new chief strategy and transformation officer.
Dixit joins the William Hill, 888 and Mr Green parent company from Virgin Media O2, where he most recently served as director of value creation and commercial strategy.
He joined the telecommunications firm in September 2022 as director of consumer commercial strategy.
Prior to that role, Dixit had stints at Deliveroo in the role global operations strategy director and at Budweiser brewer Anheuser-Busch as a commercial adviser.
The one-time Deloitte consultant also counts spells with The Economist and Boston Consulting Group on his CV.
In his role as chief strategy and transformation officer for evoke, Dixit will be responsible for the operator’s corporate strategy, M&A and business development.
He will report into evoke CEO Per Widerström and form part of the London-listed operator’s executive committee.
Dixit’s appointment comes after former evoke chief strategy officer Vaughan Lewis departed the business in the summer after more than four years.
Lewis announced his exit at the time of evoke’s full-year 2024 results announcement in March of this year.
He joined the firm in early 2021 and played a key role in its growth, including snapping up William Hill’s non-US assets and Romanian operator Winner.ro.
