The move will allow it to officially recognise its original corporate roots and reflects its continued growth, diversification, and dedication to driving economic opportunity on behalf of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.
For decades, Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos has been recognised as a leader in hospitality, entertainment, and gaming in Northern Michigan, operating properties including Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel, Leelanau Sands Casino & Lodge, Crystal Shores Casino, Beach Fire Cannabis, and Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. With the return to the original Grand Traverse Band Economic Development Corporation name, the organization is reaffirming its broader mission of strengthening economic development opportunities for the tribe and the region.
