Switzerland’s Federal Gaming Commission cancels Casino St. Moritz’s license

Switzerland’s Federal Gaming Commission has formally withdrawn the concession of Casino St. Moritz following the cessation of operations.

At the Airport Casino Basel, the concession extension is no longer applicable because it ended its online offering at the end of July.

The casino in St. Moritz closed in April. As a result, the Casino Commission (SFGB) initiated the withdrawal of the licence. Since the AG did not present any suitable buyers, the concession will be withdrawn. This also eliminates the unexercised right to operate online games.

Airport Casino Basel AG discontinued the “Goldengrand.ch” online service at the end of July for economic reasons. The operator waived the right to be heard, whereupon the SFGB withdrew the corresponding concession extension.
