Superbet has named former Permira head Josephine Hus as its new chief transformation officer, with the exec responsible for establishing and leading the operator’s new transformation office.
Hus, who will also join the business’ executive team, will head up the new division which will be responsible for a host of Superbet’s operations.
Hus and her team will lead on international expansion, M&A, digital transformation, business innovation and internal communications following her arrival.
She joins the Romanian firm after a brief spell as an adviser at CVC last year, working across value creation and digital.
Her previous full-time role was as senior vice-president of private equity for Permira between November 2018 and August 2023.
Prior to joining the British investment firm, Hus served as IT consulting firm Asurion’s chief transformation officer.
She originally joined the company in June 2017 as director of client solutions before stepping up to the C-suite in December of that year.
Hus also spent more than five years with McKinsey based out of London.
Superbet has also added Tudor Filipescu as its chief of staff within the newly established CEO office.
Filipescu, another McKinsey alumnus, will work alongside Superbet vice-president of strategy Kenneth Dambo, who joined last summer.
The CEO office will focus on driving “strategy prioritisation, cross-functional coordination and execution of critical initiatives”, according to Superbet.
Both the transformation office and the CEO office will work in close cooperation with one another as part of the shift.
The latest changes to the Superbet executive team come after a reshuffle in September 2024 that saw founder Sacha Dragic reinstated as co-CEO of the operator.
Dragic returned to the frontline to serve alongside Jimmy Maymann, while there were three other changes in the C-suite.
Chief marketing officer Albert Simsensohn was named COO, Andrei Dusu stepped up to chief product officer and Sameen Jalal was chosen as chief technology officer.
In February, the business secured a new €1.3bn refinancing agreement with Blackstone to support its growth ambitions.
Superbet has also recently opened a new Polish headquarters in Warsaw as it looks to secure a market leading position in the Eastern European nation.
