CopyBet has joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) as the monitoring body’s latest integrity partner.
The agreement will allow integrity data from the operator to be shared with IBIA’s global monitoring network.
The IBIA’s network currently consists of more than 80 companies and 140 sports betting brands worldwide.
CopyBet first launched in the UK in 2016 after securing a licence from the Gambling Commission.
The challenger brand signed a front-of-shirt sponsorship deal with Championship football club Queens Park Rangers in 2024, valid until the end of the 2025-26 season.
The operator also sponsors AEK Larnaca, PΑC Omonia 29M, Enosis Neon Paralimni and Aris Limassol in the Cypriot First Division.
Via the deal, CopyBet becomes the latest IBIA member this year, following on from SkillOnNet, Hard Rock Digital and EstrellaBet.
Anton Ivanov, CopyBet UK business development director, said: “Responsible gambling, and looking after our customers, is part of our core values at CopyBet, and joining the International Betting Integrity Association will enable us to continue providing safe gambling conditions for our players.
“We look forward to working with IBIA and support its mission of protecting the integrity of the industry.”
IBIA CEO Khalid Ali added: “IBIA is pleased to welcome Copybet as our newest member to our growing association.
“This partnership strengthens our global monitoring network and reinforces our shared commitment to protecting the integrity of sport and regulated betting markets.
“We look forward to working closely with CopyBet to detect and deter betting-related corruption and to protect the integrity of the markets offered to consumers.”
Last month, the IBIA reported it had flagged 63 suspicious betting alerts for the first quarter of 2025.
The figure represented an 11% year-on-year increase when compared to the same period in 2024, although the figure fell by 3% when compared to Q4 2024.
Football was the most flagged sport with 31 alerts, followed by tennis, table tennis and basketball all with nine alerts each.
Esports contributed four alerts, with one alert coming from horseracing.
The majority of alerts were flagged in North America (17), with 15 coming from Europe, 11 from South America, 10 from Asia and six from Africa.
Mexico and Brazil had nine alerts for football alone, while US basketball and UAE tennis sparked six alerts during the first three months of the year.
