Flutter Entertainment has opened a multi-functional workspace in Hyderabad, India.
Flutter is an international sports betting and gambling company, founded in 2016. Till now, Flutter has significantly expanded, acquiring brands including Betfair, FanDuel, Paddy Power, PokerStars, Sky Betting & Gaming, and Sportsbet.
Now, with its new project in India, Flutter has 700 employees for the 80,000-square-foot space houses. The employees will be from the operator group’s Data Engineering, Game Integrity Services, and Customer Operations departments. Flutter’s HR Operations, Procurement, and Safety and Security teams will also use the new Global Capability Centre.
Managing director of Flutter Entertainment India, Ashish Sinha, commented on the new project:
“We are excited to expand our facility in Hyderabad as we continue to strengthen our presence in India. We aim to grow while maintaining a challenger mindset and leading the sector globally and India presents a significant opportunity for our business.”
The expansion through India aligns with Flutter’s global vision of changing the game by enabling continuous improvement in product and technology across iGaming and sports betting across our portfolio of brands.
Flutter has open positions for data analytics and engineering roles in Hyderabad. By the end of 2024, the company aims to maximise its employee number to 900 with the 40% women leadership target.
With this new project, Flutter aims to boost its presence not only in India but also in the world.
