LeoVegas Group has joined the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA), becoming its latest member.
By participating as an EGBA member, LeoVegas will engage in the association’s efforts concerning responsible advertising, safer gambling, and the adoption of EU anti-money laundering guidelines, thereby aiding in the promotion of industry cooperation and standards.
Carl Brincat, Director of Policy & Regulatory Affairs at LeoVegas Group, expressed enthusiasm about the membership, stating, “As a firm dedicated to safer gambling and technical advancement, we are eager to contribute our knowledge to EGBA’s critical initiatives.” He further noted that this partnership aligns seamlessly with their aim to spearhead the development of a sustainable and well-regulated gambling industry in Europe.
Based in Stockholm, Sweden, LeoVegas operates online casino, live casino, and sports betting services across nine brands in 10 different markets. Since 2022, it has operated as a subsidiary of MGM Resorts International.

Earlier this month, the EGBA announced record participation for the upcoming European Safer Gambling Week in 2024. This annual event, now in its fourth year, occurred from November 18 to 24, utilizing social media and various events to emphasize safer gambling messages and resources while encouraging collaboration across the industry.
