Dafabet has officially become the longest-serving front-of-shirt sponsor for Celtic Football Club after renewing its partnership with the team for another three years.
With this announcement, Celtic FC confirmed that the arrangement with Dafabet will proceed as before. The Scottish club acknowledged Dafabet’s ongoing dedication to the Celtic FC Foundation, especially noting the past generosity of donating front-of-shirt space for various campaigns.
Dafabet’s commitment to the club’s charitable foundation extends to providing match tickets to local causes, granting Play on the Park rights to fans and organizations, sponsoring charity matches, and supporting Foundation activities.
Michael Nicholson, the Chief Executive of Celtic FC, remarked, “Dafabet has been an essential partner for many years, and we are thrilled to continue this partnership. They have shown significant commitment to our charitable and community efforts, and for that, we are deeply grateful.
“Our strong club fundamentals enable us to cultivate and sustain such high-quality partnerships. Through arrangements like today’s announcement, we are able to look to the future with confidence. We thank Dafabet for their enduring support of Celtic.”
The renewal has marked Dafabet as the club’s longest front-of-shirt sponsor, with a collaboration spanning 12 consecutive years, starting from the 2016/17 season.
John Cruces, Head of Sponsorship at Dafabet, stated, “We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Celtic FC. Being the longest front-of-shirt sponsor on such an iconic jersey is a proud milestone. It’s remarkable to consider our journey since the invincible 2016/17 season when we first appeared on the shirt.
“The successes achieved during our collaboration have been phenomenal, both on and off the field. We continue to wish the club all the best and are eager to witness more records shattered and common goals achieved.”
This partnership further strengthens Scottish football’s connections to the gambling industry. Earlier this year, the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) reinforced its links by naming William Hill as the main sponsor for all four divisions—Premiership, Championship, League One, and League Two.
