**Thunderkick Elevates Johanna Backlund to Head of Marketing**

Thunderkick has revamped its marketing team by promoting Johanna Backlund to Head of Marketing. Backlund, who brings two decades of industry experience, including close to two years at Thunderkick, is set to spearhead the company’s marketing efforts and enhance brand visibility worldwide, aiming to drive new business opportunities.

Backlund expressed her enthusiasm about her new position, stating, “January 2025 will mark my second year with Thunderkick, and I’m thrilled to start the new year as Head of Marketing. It’s been a rewarding experience working with such a talented and motivated team, and I’m eager to contribute to the company’s future achievements.”

Throughout her tenure at Thunderkick, Backlund has played a crucial role in shaping and executing the slots studio’s comprehensive marketing strategy.

Earlier this month, Thunderkick announced that it has secured a B2B supplier license in Denmark, granted by the national gambling authority, Spillemyndigheden. This development allows the slots studio to distribute its games to operators in Denmark’s gambling market until 2029.
