Crypto gaming website BC.Game has pulled out from the UK market, sparking speculation about its future and its sponsorship agreement with Leicester City FC.
The company announced its decision to leave the UK following news that a license revocation was imminent. According to reports from football experts at Josimar, the Curaçao Gaming Control Board (GCB) document indicated that Small Dance B.V, the parent company of BC.Game, was at risk of losing its license.
BC.Game’s challenges were exacerbated by a legal case underway in Curaçao. Customers have claimed financial losses attributed to technical issues and alleged company misconduct. Despite this, BC.Game sought to reassure Leicester City of its robustness, promising the Premier League club that they were actively appealing the legal issues.
Leicester City confirmed: “BC.Game has ensured us that liquidity remains intact and that they are fully committed to fulfilling their financial and contractual duties, including those to the club. They assure that this case will not affect BC.Game’s ongoing international ventures.”
Responding to accusations of financial instability, BC.Game released a statement addressing the legal dispute in Curaçao. Customers have accused the platform of misconduct, citing losses from technical failures.
“We strongly contest the court’s recent decisions and will be appealing, as we believe it did not properly account for crucial evidence,” BC.Game’s statement declared. “We are confident in proving our compliance and maintaining our standing as a credible industry operator.”
Withdrawing from the UK puts BC.Game’s partnership with Leicester City under more scrutiny, especially as Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace have recently been cautioned about their affiliations with Kaiyun Sports, another non-UK-operating brand.
