Stake has gone live in Denmark after securing a five-year licence from the Danish Gambling Authority (DGA).
Stake.dk has become the Australia-based operator’s latest locally licensed platform, following on from launches in Italy, Brazil and Colombia.
The firm will launch both online sports betting and casino in the Nordic nation.
Stake’s move into Denmark comes after it snapped up VinderCasino parent company MocinoPlay in January 2025.
VinderCasino CEO Peter Eugen Clausen has shifted to become managing director of Stake Denmark as part of the launch.
VinderCasino has continued to operate during the intervening period, but only online casino is offered.
From 1 March, Stake Denmark will also have an office presence at the Danish national football stadium, Parken.

The operator will share a space with Legendary Gaming Group, with Stake Denmark becoming an official sponsor of a lounge at the stadium.
Almost 40 operators that hold online casino and sports betting licences in Denmark are live with at least one brand.
Several licence holders run multiple brands in the market, including SkillOnNet, ComeOn Group and Entain.
Clausen said: “Denmark has one of the most well-regulated and competitive gaming markets in Europe, and that’s exactly what makes it so exciting.
“With Stake’s arrival, Danish players can expect a fresh, world-class experience, backed by global scale and strong local focus.
“We’re raising the bar in terms of product, transparency and entertainment, and I believe increased competition from brands like Stake will only drive the market forward in a positive way.”
Brais Pena, Easygo chief strategy officer, added: “Denmark marks our entry into the Nordics and represents a clear win in one of Europe’s most mature and high-value markets.
“With each new market, our momentum continues to build as we deliver on our global expansion strategy.”
Earlier this year, Easygo chief marketing officer Akhil Sarin sat down with EGR to discuss the company’s marketing strategy.
