Hippodrome’s Chairman heralds landmark moment
The Hippodrome, the UK’s largest & most popular entertainment and casino venue, and an established cornerstone of West End life, has now welcomed 20 million customers through its doors.
Since opening in 2012, it now offers seven floors of fun, three casinos, London’s largest dedicated poker floor, a Paddy Power sports bar, a multi-award-winning steak house, the famous Chop Chop Chinese restaurant, Magic Mike Live, and nine bars.
Hippodrome chairman Simon Thomas said: “For the past few weeks, I’ve been watching the numbers. With 13th July approaching, it’s also a reminder the casino only opened in 2012. When Boris Johnson opened the building, he talked about restoring a landmark and putting it back at the centre of London’s entertainment life. That ambition has driven every decision we’ve taken since. These twenty million people have come here for all sorts of reasons. First dates. Anniversaries. Time on the tables.
