Rank Group has announced the appointment of former Allwyn head Jenny Blogg as its new chief commercial officer (CCO).
Officially joining on 16 March, Blogg will be responsible for the “cross-channel customer experience” across the Mecca and Grosvenor brands.
Blogg’s departure from Allwyn was announced last month when the lottery operator reshuffled its retail division to drive “growth, innovation and execution”.
She will report into interim CEO Richard Harris, who stepped into the post last month following the retirement of John O’Reilly.
Joining the executive committee, Blogg will have chief product officer Liam Wallwork and Rank Interactive managing director Andrew Peat report directly to her.
The executive committee includes Harris, as well as chief people officer Hazel Boyle, chief information officer Jonathan Plumb and group transformation strategy director Emma Morning, among others.
Blogg joins directly from Allwyn, where she served as director of operations for two-and-a-half years in which she headed up the retail, contact centre, draw operations and customer experience teams at the firm.
Blogg spent six years at Camelot from 2017 to the end of 2023, during which she held the roles of retail director and commercial director.
Allwyn bought Camelot, the previous National Lottery licence holder, to support its running of the product.
Forming the rest of Blogg’s career is commercial leadership experience in the retail and food industries at firms such as Mondelez, Cadbury, Danone Group, United Biscuits and Dixons Stores Group.
