The board of Raketech Group Plc has informed investors that Måns Svalborn has chosen to resign as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Nasdaq First North iGaming media firm.

Raketech has initiated an executive search to appoint its next CFO, as Svalborn is due to finish his tenure on 30 April 2026.

A former executive of Nordic and Baltic investment bank Nordea, Svalborn joined Raketech as CFO in 2019, forming part of a new C-level leadership team following the media group’s IPO, finalised in 2018.

His tenure was primarily served under the leadership of former CEO Oskar Mühlbach (2019–2024), a period characterised by aggressive M&A expansion across affiliate and media to expand Raketech igaming network across Europe, the US and Asia.

In 2024, Raketech announced a leadership reset with co-founder Johan Svensson returning to the CEO role, as markets were informed of a strategic review of the group’s media portfolio and cost controls.

The executive change comes amid a broader corporate streamline of operations, as the group restructures its commercial model and refines the performance of its key media assets and partner network.

As part of this process, Raketech has divested a number of non-core businesses, including the sale of its US-based tipster and subscription websites and the sale of the former Casumba Japan network.

2024 financial results saw Raketech book a major non-cash asset write-down of circa €48m linked to the reduced value of previously acquired businesses. In 2025, Raketech stated that it would prioritise cost initiatives to help undertake balance-sheet reset to help sustainable growth and development of its remaining media assets.

Commenting on Svalborn’s departure, CEO Svensson thanked the outgoing CFO for strengthening Raketech’s financial governance and supporting the group through a period of structural change.

Svalborn commented: “I am grateful for the opportunity to have served as CFO of Raketech and to have worked closely with the Board, Management Team, and colleagues across the Group. I wish the company the best as it continues its work going forward.”
